VARSITY GOLF 4/22

Monday afternoon on a beautiful, sunny day at IndianHead Golf Course the Dryden Purple Lions Varsity Golf team beat the Union Springs Purple Wolves 215 to 238.  Dryden senior Ryan Whitaker (38) got off to a hot start with birdies on the first and third holes and hung on to edge out Union Springs senior Austin Thomas (39) for medalist honors.   Dryden (6-0) visits Southern Cayuga on Thursday.  Dryden’s team score of 35-over-par qualified them for the 2013 Class C Section IV Championship to be held at Maple Hills Golf Club on Monday May 20.
