Frm the Coach - Golf goes to 3-0

VARSITY GOLF 4/15
Monday afternoon on a soggy, windswept Dryden Lake Golf Course, the Dryden Purple Lions Varsity Golf team stayed undefeated for 2013 beating the Marathon Olympians 207 to 253.  Dryden Junior Jonathan Becker overcame a double bogey on the first hole by playing nearly flawless golf the rest of the way under difficult scoring conditions, including a birdie on the par5 seventh hole.  Zach Brandstadt played the final three holes one-under-par to post a solid 41 for the visitors. Dryden (3-0) travels to Trumansburg (2-0) on Tuesday, while Marathon (0-1) will be visiting non-league foe Cincinatus.
