Lion Laxer finish regular season with win -await sectional seedings

The Dryden Lions finished the regular season with a win over Elmira and 7-9 record.  This is their highest win total ever.  (5 was the previous mark)
They will also qualify for Sectionals for the first time.  they are the 6th seed and will travel to Maine Endwell on Tuesday the 21st for a rematch of the season opening game which the lions dropped 10-5.  That game on March 27th was the Lions first time on a full size, lined field all spring as their only pre-season scrimmage was cancelled.  Dryden finished the season on a 4-1 streak while the Spartans were  2-3 (losing last three) in their last 5 games.  Dryden's one loss was by a goal in overtime at Chenango Valley.  Dryden averaged 10.6 goals per game, while allowing only 5.8 over that 5 game stretch.
