Dryden over Trumansburg in baseball

Dryden improved to 12-6 overall with a 10-5 win over visiting Trumansburg.  For Dryden, Bruno Bugliosi picked up the win as he went 6 innings allowing 4 runs, 0 earned, while allowing 3 hits, striking out 8 and walking 3.  For Trumansburg, Mitchell Swartwood picked up the loss.  Trumansburg took a quick 2-0 lead after the top of the first inning as Glen Addicott led off the inning with a walk.  Alex Shippy followed with a groundball, but an error allowed the inning to continue.  Cam Lueder followed with an RBI single to make it 1-0 as Addicott scored.  Colin Fellows' fielder's choice allowed Shippy to score to make it 2-0 Trumansburg.  Dryden would answer with 2 runs in the bottom of the first inning as Noah Welgodd led off the inning with a single.  Welgoss would steal second.  After a flyout, Derek Wilson would line the ball at shortstop, but the ball made contact with Welgoss, resulting in an out, allowing Wilson to reach first on the dead-ball single.  Wilson take second on a passed ball and scored on Brian Colbert's RBI double to center to make it 2-1.  Alan Davis would follow with an RBI single scoring Colbert to tie the game at 2.  Dryden would take the lead in the bottom of third as Bruno Bugliosi walked with one out, stole second base and scored on Derek Wilson's RBI double to make it 3-2.  Brian Colbert would follow with a 2-run homerun to left-center to make it 5-2.  Dryden would add 2 more runs in the bottom of the fourth as Noah Welgoss reached on an error with 2 outs.  Welgoss would steal second base and score on Bruno Bugliosi's RBI double to make it 6-2.  Derek Wilson would follow with an RBI single to make it 7-2 as Bugliosi scored.  Trumansburg would add 2 unearned runs in the top of the fifth to make it 7-4.  Dryden would add some insurance runs in the bottom of the sixth as Bruno Bugliosi doubled with two outs.  Derek Wilson would reach on an error, and Brian Colbert would follow with a 2-RBI double scoring Bugliosi and Wilson to make it 9-4.  Alan Davis followed with an RBI single scoring Colbert to make it 10-4.  Dryden is now off until sectional play begins.
