Justen Geddes fired a two-hitter with seven strikeouts Monday as the
Dryden baseball team shut out visiting Union Springs, 8-0, in
Interscholastic Athletic Conference play.
Eight
players had one hit each for the Purple Lions, who scored three runs in
the first inning, three more in the fourth and two in the fifth in
support of Geddes.
Hunter Senecal drove in two runs for Dryden, which hosts Trumansburg at 4:30 p.m. Wednesday while Union Springs hosts Marathon.
