Dryden Boys Lax gets first program win over Owego Free Academy

In Dryden's short history of boys lacrosse (7 years) they have only beaten 4 different teams.  Whitney Point, Elmira Notre Dame, EFA and Oneonta.  Owego Free Academy can now be added to that list.

On a beautiful night at TC3 the Dryden Laxers came out with an intensity that lasted all 48 minutes.  Contributions came from all grade levels and positions. Many positives pumped the team up and a few errors were quickly forgotten about.

6 of 9 goals were assisted.  Man-up was 4 of 6 while our defense held OFA to 1 of 4 with man-up.

Dryden held the advantage in ground balls and face-offs and had 18 successful clears on 24 attempts.  All three are very important procession statistics.  Nate Walker got 6 of his 11 saves in the final period when the defense clamped down and held them to one unsettled goal after a failed clear.

4 games remain (one road game at Chenango Valley and 3 at home, END, EFA, Seton Catholic)  and all should be very competitive .
