We started very slow today
and Marathon started their usual very fast. They owned the first half. They
scored with five minutes left in the half
on a ping pong play and Jaden Burke found the goal on a header. We made
a couple adjustments at half time and discussed our game plan in detail and
came out had a much improved second half. It was very nice to see. We had
several chances but could not make that final shot. Kyle Young was strong in
goal and Marathon held on for win.
We are 1-1 on the season
and go to Lansing tomorrow night at 7:00 pm
Marathon improves to 2-0.
