Dryden 0, Whitney Point 0, OT: On Wednesday at Whitney Point,
neither team could find the net through regulation and overtime. The
host Eagles had an 11-10 edge in shots and a 5-3 edge in corners. Thad
LeViere made 10 saves for Dryden, while Sean Kelly made three for WP.
“It
was end to end with many opportunities for both teams,” Dryden coach
Laszlo Engel said. “We simply need to shoot more. We are in deep but
seem to not get a shot off for all the work that we’ve done. So we will
address it.”
The Lions (5-3-1) travel to Union Springs Friday for a 4:30 p.m. kickoff.
