The
Dryden JV Girls basketball improved their record to 4-0 with a 32-10 win over
Groton. It was our best win of the year, but a win is a win. Overall, the girls
struggled in the first half to get into a rhythm offensively. We struggled to
make the extra pass and missed a lot of uncontested points in the paint. I
thought our defense played better in the second half. We committed too many
foolish fouls in the first looking very sluggish. The girls did an exceptional
job attacking the basket and getting to the line. We were 63% from the line
which is much improved from the previous contests. Lindsey Goodenough led the
team with 10 pts and Keri Daley added 9.
