WAVERLY — Waverly jumped out to a 13-1
first-quarter lead and cruised to a 39-22 win over Dryden here Friday
night in IAC junior varsity girls basketball action.
The Lady Wolverines, now 13-4 overall, increased its lead to 34-11 entering the final eight minutes.
Alex Tomasso led Waverly with 13 points and Elle Nittinger added 12. Fallon Huck chipped in with seven points in the win.
Waverly closes out its season Tuesday at Lansing in a JV game only.
