Lansing 45, Dryden 27: On Friday at Dryden, the sixth-ranked
Bobcats (14-1) held the Purple Lions to just six first-half points en
route to the 18-point victory, Lansing coach Stuart Dean’s 500th career
win.
Dean’s
32-year record stands at 500-132, for a .791 winning percentage, and
he’s led the Bobcats to 22 IAC divisional titles, 10 overall IAC
championships, two Section 4 titles and the 2001 state Class C crown.
His teams have only had two losing seasons.
Junior Shea McCartney led the winners with 12 points, while twin sister Maura McCartney and Audrey Eastman added nine apiece.
