Special day for Bennetts

Taylor Bennett scored three goals in the game’s first 15 minutes and finished with six goals overall, including the 100th of her career, as Dryden’s girls soccer team beat Trumansburg 8-0 on Monday in Interscholastic Athletic Conference girls soccer action.
The win was also the 200th for coach Janine Bennett, Taylor’s mother. Taylor Bennett had four goals in the first half, then added two more in the second, the final one coming less than seven minutes into the second half.
Abigail Barr had a goal directly off a corner kick and added two assists, while Victoria Leyburn scored her first varsity goal for Dryden.
