DRYDEN — Taylor Bennett scored five goals, giving
her 11 over the past two days, and Dryden improved to 4-0 with an 8-0
shutout of Moravia in Interscholastic Athletic Conference girls’ soccer
action on Tuesday.
Abigail Barr added two
goals and Amy Gardner had one for the Purple Lions, who beat Union
Springs/Port Byron, 9-1, on Monday led by Bennett’s six goals. Ashley
Tenkate, Brittany Deeley and Amy DeGaetano had assists Tuesday for
Dryden, which outshot Moravia, 23-4, and had all four of the game’s
corner kicks.
Dryden
will travel to Marcellus for non league match Thursday before returning
home Monday to face Trumansburg in a league match.
