JV/Varsity Boys Basketball vs Southern Cayuga 1/29
Dryden improved to 10-4 overall and 10-3 in IAC play win an 85-40 win at SC.  Dryden was led by Bryan Norman who had 24 points (10/14 FG) and 4 assist.  Gage Ellis added 21 points (10/11 FG) and 9 rebounds.  Shawm Moore added 16 points and 7 rebounds.  Tom Miller and Vince Stebbins led SC with 9 points each.  Dryden got off to a fast start as they led 27-11 after the first quarter.  "We got great looks in the first quarter."  Norman and Ellis both with 11 points in the first quarter, matching SC's total output.  "Gage and Bryan attacked the basket well and shot it well.  If they play well collectively, we play well."  Shawn Moore would connected on a three-quarter court shot at the buzzer to end the first quarter.  Dryden would outscore SC 20-6 in the second quarter to take a 47-17 lead into the locker room.  Norman and Shawn Moore with 7 points each in the second quarter.  Norman outscored SC in the first half by himself 18-17...and Ellis was just shy of that as he had 15 first-half points.  Ellis would finish off a missed fast-break Dryden lay-up in the second quarter with a follow two-hand dunk.  Ellis and Norman would combine for 12 points in the third quarter ( 6 points each) before being pulled with 5 minutes remaining in the quarter.  Dryden JV's improved to 11-3 overall and 11-2 in IAC play with a 64-46 win.  Stu Stahlman led Dryden with 18 points.  Noah Welgoss added 13 points, while Matt McHerron added 12.  Dryden is at Whitney Point Friday, 5:30 JV tip.
