Girls Varsity Swim at Whitney Point

The Dryden Lady Lions varsity swim team scored an easy win over Whitney Point on Thursday, October 16^th, by a score of 58-11.  The win improves their record to 5-4 on the year.

Individual wins were scored by Taylor Cain (200IM: 2:45.05), Jada Chaires (100Free: 1:12.26), Erin Daley (100 Fly: 1:08.69), Allison Morrow (50 Free: 30.66) and Jainyn Wood (200 Free: 2:16.56; 500 Free: 6:05.17).

The 200 Medley Relay team of Allison Morrow, Jada Chaires, Veronica Cator-Szymanksi, and Erin Daley also scored a victory with a winning time of 2:21.67.

Second place finishes in were recorded by Maddee Alexander (200 Free: 2:30.98, 500 Free: 6:55.30), Sydney Bishop (200IM: 3:01.57, 100 Free: 1:12.71), Kennedy Humphrey (50 Free: 33.69), and Allison Morrow (100 Fly: 1:30.69).

With the outcome of the meet decided, Dryden swam the last three events (100 Back, 100 Breast, 400 Free Relay) as Exhibition.

Season’s best times came from Jada Chaires (100 Free: 1:12.26), and Erin Daley (100 Fly: 1:08.62).

The girl’s next meet will be Tuesday, October 21^st, at Lansing.
