IAC Championships: On Saturday at Watkins Glen, Newark Valley
won the team title with 210.5 points, topping a 15-team field that
included runner-up Watkins Glen (186.5).
Lansing placed seventh
with 83 points and had an individual champion in Jimmy Overhiser, who
defeated Odessa-Montour's Joe Rorick, 16-6, in the 120-pound final.
Dryden
was 10th and had a champion in Chad Adams at 220 pounds, and Groton
took 11th and had a winner in Garrett Lockwood, who defeated Lansing's
Hunter Oblinski, 11-3, to win the title at 113.
