From the Coach - JV Girls 7-2 with win over Union Springs

1/15: The Dryden JV girls secured another road win at Union Springs 24-17 improving their record to 7-2. I was very pleased with the little things that we have been working on for the last month such as rebounding and not giving the other team second opportunities. We did an exceptional job with crashing the boards and allowing ourselves with second opportunities offensively off missed shots. Offensively, we continue to find that game where everything clicks. We did cut down on the number of forced passes, but are still making mental mistakes. Are ball movement was very good and off the ball movement as well. This allowed us to have many opportunities for open looks and we did make some, but missed a lot. I thought our guards played very well. They were able to make good decisions in front of them and attacked the basket when they saw open lanes. The girls continue to play hard and are having fun learning such a complex sport.
