Dryden boys nip Trumansburg in soccer

The Dryden Boy's Soccer team celebrates after hard fought 1-0 victory over Trumansburg.
TRUMANSBURG — 09/07/2012 - John Whitmore’s second-half goal proved the difference as the Dryden boys’ soccer team edged Trumansburg, 1-0, Friday evening at Tarbell Field.
Jake Czapranski assisted on the goal for the Purple Lions (2-1), who outshot the Blue Raiders, 11-4, and had a 9-1 advantage in corner kicks. Haile Cutter made three saves to earn the shutout.
Sebastian Andrzejkowicz made 10 saves for Trumansburg, which travels to Whitney Point on Tuesday. Dryden is off until it hosts Lansing on Thursday.
