Lansng vs Dryden - Girls Soccer - From the Coach

Varsity girls soccer: 10/15 -  Lansing defeated Dryden by a score of 2-0  to clinch the large school north division. lansing finishes the season with a 14-0 IAC record and will play on Saturday at TC3 forthe IAC large school championship. The game was 0-0 at half time. lansing netted a goal early in the second half when Kristin Dake finished from the left flank. Dryden had a few chances throughout but was unable to capitalize. Lansing sealed the deal with ten minutes remaining with an Elena Parkins goal. The game was a typical Dryden Lansing game. " I knew my team could hang with Lansing for 40 minutes, even 60 minutes, but with the depth they have and the ability to rest their kids to keep them fresh and the young small team I have with the inability to rest my kids is a huge disadvantage to us. being able to hang in at that strength and speed is only something that will come with my 8th graders becoming 9 the graders or 10th graders" " I am proud of the way we played, the heart and the commitment to fight hard to the end is a testament to what the future Dryden soccer has ahead of them"
