Last
night Dryden finished out the regular season as they defeated US 57-41,
improving their overall record to 12-5 as they head into sectional
play. Dryden was led by Bryan Norman who had a game-high 27 points to
go along with 6 rebounds, 4 assists and 2 steals. Gage Ellis added 10
points and 9 rebounds, while Trevor Gardner and Bruno Bugliosi added 7
points each. US was led by Billy Harris who had 14 points. Dryden
jumped out to a 15-4 first quarter lead. Norman with 6 in the quarter
and Ellis with 4. Dryden would expand the lead to 19 at half as they
led 32-13. Norman with 6 in the
quarter. US would outscore Dryden 19-7 in the third quarter to cut the
deficit to 7 entering the fourth quarter. Harris with 11 in the quarter
for US. Norman with 5 in the quarter for Dryden. Dryden would
outscore US 18-9 in the final quarter for a 57-41 victory. Norman with
10 in the quarter. Dryden
JV's defeated US 60-18. Matt McHerron led Dryden with 21 points.
Dryden JV's will travel to Waverly for the Large School North Division
title on Wednesday, 7:30 tip. The Dryden varsity boys will find out their sectional seeding this Thursday.
