Lady Lions Named All-Stars

From the DCS Website

The IAC released their Varsity Volleyball All-Star teams for Fall 2014 and Dryden was well represented. Seniors Mackenzie Todd and Kayla Kucerak were placed on the First Team. Seniors Alex Zehr and Vanessa Scott and Junior Madison Seamans were named to the second team. The team had a great year and it is nice to see these hard working girls honored for their dedication. Great job!

Dryden Cheerleaders will have competitive designation going forward.

Fro the Athletic Department

After an exhaustive compliance review, Superintendent Sherwood has verified that we are in compliance with the new cheerleading regulations and therefore can declare our teams competitive for this season, and seasons moving forward (both Fall and Winter seasons are covered by these regulations from now on).  Both the Varsity and JV teams will be competitive, so Middle School girls will still have to pass selective classification to participate.  Those girls wishing to do so must wait for further direction from the Athletic Department.

TC3 NEWS: Seven soccer players from Tompkins Cortland Community College — four men and three women — have been named NJCAA All-Region III this fall.
Honorees from the men's team are sophomore striker Morgan Shutter (Odessa-Montour), freshman midfielder Jacob Czapranski (Dryden), sophomore defender James Demshick and sophomore keeper McZiggy Richards. Shutter led the Panthers with 16 goals, half the team's total, as TC3 finished the season 12-6 and lost in the Region III semifinals, 2-0, to Genesee C.C.
Women's honorees were sophomore forward Hannah Wildenstein (Dryden), sophomore defender Amanda DeGraff and sophomore midfielder Devin Blanchard.
